Dr. Jen Hoch is available for consultation to veterinarians on complex and routine cases. As a pet owner, veterinarian, surgeon, and mother she can provide a second opinion with a highly trained and unique perspective. She will provide treatment options available for the client, guide and support the Family Veterinarian in patient care. She strives to provide all pets with the best care they deserve as a loyal part of the family.
Dr. Jennifer Hoch is a board certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. To achieve this distinction, Dr. Hoch completed 2 years of internships after veterinary school graduation from Auburn University. Next she completed a 3 year Surgical Residency at Iowa State University. After her specific training, research, publication and rigorous certification, Dr. Hoch meets the guidelines established by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS). She worked at a multi-specialty referral only practice for 14 years. She created MVSS to reach more pets and families, and provide advanced surgeries for clients that are not able to travel for these specialized procedures. Dr. Hoch will bring the surgery to the local veterinary office.
Kristie Wilson is a Registered Veterinary Technician with 25 years of experience in the veterinary field. She graduated from St. Petersburg College in 2007 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She has worked with Dr. Jennifer Hoch as her surgery nurse for the last 3 years. Kristie is also a Certified ASCP Phlebotomist. While working in her career field as an RVT, she also worked as a Phlebotomist at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital for 5 years. She is a cat lover at heart but loves all animals. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends!
